WWE Clash of Champions

Tonight the superstars of WWE SmackDown Live are in Boston, Massachusetts, for the Clash of Champions. This is the final PPV (or WWE Network event) of the year and also the beginning of the Road to the Royal Rumble at the end of January. The card has seven matches, and every SmackDown Live exclusive title will be up for grabs. The card is as follows:

  • Mojo Rawley vs. Zack Ryder (Kickoff Show Match)
  • Breezango vs. The Bludgeon Brothers
  • Charlotte vs. Natalya (Women’s Championship)
  • Baron Corbin vs. Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler (U.S. Championship)
  • The Usos vs. The New Day vs. Rusev and Aiden English vs. Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin (Tag Team Championships)
  • Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan will be special guest referees.)
  • AJ Styles vs. Jinder Mahal (WWE Championship)

The main card starts at 8PM Eastern, with the Kickoff show at 7PM, and I will be providing commentary, observations, and a bit of snark in the liveblog below.
