Camping World 500 (LiveBlog)

Today the drivers of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup circuit are in Phoenix, Arizona, for race 2 of their west coast swing. Today is the Camping World 500(k) at Phoenix Raceway. The coverage begins at 3PM Eastern on the regular Fox Network with the prerace show, and on 2:30PM on Motor Racing Network. The green flag to start the race is scheduled to wave at 3:45 PM. Drivers will go for 312 laps (with stages ending on laps 75 and 150 before a frantic 162 lap final stage to the checkered flag) on a 1-mile track for 500 kilometers. I will be providing commentary, highlights, observations, and a little bit of snark in the liveblog below.
